Current Ethnoarchaeology 2015

The 2015 edition of the Current Ethnoarchaeology conference was hel in Rome from the 25th to the 27th of November 2015.  SimulPast project results were presented by members of SimulPast groups G1, G2 and G9.

"Ethnoarchaeology is a widespread research strategy for bridging the present and the past. It holds a very special position in the process of reconstructing the past, since it allows archaeologists to build frames of reference from the ethnographic present to explore, test, and infer about past phenomena."


"A question of numbers: quantitative ethnoarchaeology", was presented by C. Lancelotti, D. Zurro, J. Caro, J. Ruiz Pérez, and J. Alcaina-Mateos.

"Ethnoarchaeology as a record of traditional knowledge", was presented by D. Zurro, L. Vietri, J. Caro, and C. Lancelotti.
