    Can knowledge about ancient societies help us manage the social impact of climate change on contemporary communities? May the results of archaeological research usefully inform current social perceptions of the challenges that arise from climate change, such as dealing with danger, settling disputes, and coping with heritage loses or threats to individual and collective cultural identity?
